INSite container, Courtenay Place

As part of IntensCITY week 2007, a group of artists have been invited to work for three weeks in eight significant city spaces. Working out of steel shipping containers placed in each area, the artists will critically interpret their space. This is the INSite exhibition, and during the weekend of 29 – 30 September, 10.00am – 4.00pm, you can follow a dedicated walk between each of the containers and talk with the artists about their work.

This container contains the Sentimental Plastics installation, which explores the creative upcycling of plastic bags. There's an article in the Capital Times about the artists and their work.
