Description
An extraordinary evening that combines New Zealanders’ passion for home-grown beats and kiwi music videos showcased on the big screen. Radio Active 89FM is showing it's commitment to the wonder of NZ Music by hosting the 10th “Handle the Jandal" NZ Music Video evening on the big screen. Radio Active 89FM is proud to be the instigator for fresh indigenous creative talent - linking visual kiwi wizardry to audio kiwi mastery at Wellington's legendary St James Theatre. Shown to a capacity audience in 2006, this time we promise more of the same, but better! It is expected 1500 people will full the venue to witness New Zealands best music videos of the year. Handle the Jandal will be a glorious cinematic event showcasing the visual magnificence of Aotearoa’s home-grown musical-artists. Experience the emotion derived from the beats and rhythms of Kiwi song and sound-scope masters; nothing conveys music better than adding visuals to it. A music video is a key component to any music, it can dramatise, promote, illustrate, animate and add colour to the meaning of a song unlike any other media. The evening consists of a Prize Giving Ceremony and a Montage of the Finalists. When: Thursday, 27 November 2008
Time: 6:00pm - 11:45pm
Where: St James Theatre, Wellington
Cost:
Adult presales + bf: $30.00
