40 Wallace Street is owned by John Morrison and his partner Joss.  It is a building that incorporates historic limeworks (the ovens are displayed) and has been designed to host a cafe.  It is the informal meeting place for Mt Cook residents and friends of the suburb who want to have a say about the neighourhood development.
