Description
Marist AFC Wellington is pleased to be hosting the annual tournament for Marist Football clubs from arround New Zealand during the weekend of the 14th 15th and 16th of September 2007. The tournament provides a spectacle of skills, and through the great game of soccer, brings players and teams from different cultures and backgrounds together to form ever lasting memories and friendships.
The Marist Club which was formed in 1896 has a proud history in Wellington soccer and the Chatham Cup, winning the cup in 1932 and 46. The Marist Club is based at Kilbirnie Park in the Eastern Suburbs and fields over 10 senior teams in Mens and Womens leagues.
