Village area east of Petone bordering the Hutt River. With a population of around 1600 the area consists largley of unique 1920's 'Railway Cottages'.
Has a diverse population serviced by a small shopping area with various fast food outlets and bakeries.
Highlights include the public library, local butcher, cafe and boutique cheese maker.
