Description
Dunedin (Ōtepoti in Maori) is the second-largest city in the South Island of New Zealand, located in coastal Otago. Although now only by some definitions the eighth largest city of New Zealand in terms of population, it is the fifth largest urban area, as Greater Auckland is composed of four cities. For historical and geographical reasons, Dunedin is still regarded as one of the country's four main centres. The city stands on the hills and valleys surrounding the head of Otago Harbour. The harbour and hills are the remnants of an extinct volcano. Dunedin is the home of the University of Otago. Description courtesy of Wikipedia

I just love Dunedin- Born and raised in this city there aint nothing i could say against it. Its a bodacious town set to impress and boy does she ever. Dunedin to me, is pretty much the greatest, its fun friendly and flipping fantastic. Good jobs, infrastructure, schools, environment, economy, attitude, vibe, essence, library, museums, art gallery (in fact you just need to go outside to see fantastic art, the graffiti is generally intelligent and well done) good music scene, the young people of Dunedin never fail to amaze me. L.P.H.S seems to produce some amazing young people who go on to make amazing things happen. Im happy as ever in Dunedin and rank it highly, that is to say if anyone is thinking of moving come to Dunedin- Great Uni, friendly people ready to accomodate visiters and newcomers.

It is difficult to comprehend that huge wind turbines are going to be thrust into the precious landscape sourrounding my hometown of Dunedin. DONT LET THEM DO IT DUNEDIN!!!
Do not let Meridian Energy, or TrustPower, drain the lifeblood of our region to feed the insatiable hunger of the far north. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
