Surprisingly popular place - does it still exist?
We were really happy with our wedding photographer from Dreamlife Photos & Video. Excellent service: on time, polite & engaging. Our photos came out beautiful and we are really happy we went with dreamlife hotography in auckland. Definitely recommend dreamlife photos for wedding photography

Haha, cool story. The bluenote, you'll be sad to hear, has gone now, replaced with 'the fringe' I think. It's still a bar though, and they probably still do karoake.
My memory of this place is doing sunday night karoake with my gf of the time and her friends, before I moved to Germany.

Nice cafe in Taihape, good for a stopover and some reasonably price and belly filling foods.
